Ask around in Kyovashad chat for long enough and someone will mention Meaty Offerings, usually after a messy seasonal event where the ground is covered in loot and half the party has already run off. It's a ritual material, not a normal upgrade piece, so it won't feel like the usual stack of herbs or ore. Players chase it because it can open fights that pay out gold, crafting bits, XP, and sometimes useful Diablo 4 Items if the run goes your way.
What the offering is used for
A Meaty Offering is mainly tied to altar-style encounters during seasonal content. You bring the material to the right ritual spot, use it, and the game throws enemies at you. Sometimes it's a few waves. Sometimes it's an elite pack that hits harder than expected. That's the point, really. You're trading the offering for a packed fight with better chances at rewards. Don't treat it like a vendor trash item. If you've got one in your bag, check the seasonal activity panel or nearby ritual areas before you move on.
Where it tends to drop
The best place to start is seasonal zones, because that's where the game usually hides these odd materials. Kill the themed enemies, finish the local objectives, and don't skip the last chest or cache. World events are worth doing too. They're quick, they spawn plenty of monsters, and you can chain several of them if you know the map well. Strongholds can also be good while they're still uncleared, since the first run through them is packed with enemies. Once a stronghold is finished, though, it loses that one-time density, so make that first clear count.
Farming without wasting time
If your character can handle it, play on the highest World Tier that still feels smooth. Dying every two minutes isn't farming; it's just repair bills. Nightmare Dungeons are another solid option once you're geared enough, mostly because elite enemies and end rewards give you more chances at seasonal drops. Pick dungeons you can clear fast rather than the ones that look impressive on paper. A build with strong area damage helps a lot here. Sorcerers, Necromancers, Rogues, and Barbarians can all do it, but the real question is simple: can you delete packs before they spread out?
Making each run pay off
Group play is the easy boost people forget about. A decent party clears events faster, splits up map scouting, and keeps the pace moving when one player has to sort inventory. Keep an eye on seasonal objectives while farming, because you may finish several at the same time without planning it. If your main goal is building wealth for upgrades, trading, or rerolling gear, some players also choose to buy Diablo 4 Gold to save time, but Meaty Offering farming is still worth doing for the fights, drops, and progress it brings.
